Wellmerce Reorder Reminder. Help & Setup Guide
Everything you need to get reorder reminders running on your store, and what to check if something's not working as expected.
Getting started
After installing, the Setup wizard walks you through four steps. You can revisit it any time from the app's navigation.
-
1
Connect your email sender
Enter the email address reminders will send from, plus a business address (required by SendGrid to verify you own that address — not shown to customers). You'll get a confirmation email to click before this step completes; the page updates automatically once you do.
-
2
Select products
Your Shopify catalogue syncs in automatically — switch on reminders for the products customers reorder.
-
3
Set your usage cycle
Choose a preset or enter a custom number of days — how long a product typically lasts before a customer needs more.
-
4
Confirm and activate
Review your setup and turn reminders on. This step is disabled until your sender is verified.
How it works
Every order for an enabled product starts its own countdown, based on that product's usage cycle. Reminders send a few days before the estimated run-out date (configurable in Settings), not on it — so the email arrives while the customer still has time to reorder before running out.
The Dashboard's "Est. runout" column always shows the true estimated run-out date for a given order — the actual email send happens earlier than that date, based on your lead-time setting.
Sending rules
Settings also lets you cap how often any one customer is reminded, set minimum days between reminders, and block sends during quiet hours — all to avoid feeling spammy.
Plans & pricing

- No time limit
Pro
$19 / month — 14-day free trial

Once a Free plan store sends 50 reminders in a calendar month, further reminders pause until the month resets or you upgrade — enabled products stay configured, nothing is lost.
Troubleshooting
My sender still shows "Not verified"
Check the inbox for the address you entered in Setup — SendGrid sends a confirmation link there. The page checks automatically every few seconds and updates once you click it; no need to refresh manually. If it's been a while, use "Resend email" on the Sender step.
No reminders are sending
Check, in order: is the product enabled in Setup? Is your sender verified? Is the app activated (step 4 of Setup)? Has the product's estimated run-out date actually arrived yet — reminders send based on real order dates, not immediately after setup. If you're on the Free plan, also check you haven't hit the 50/month cap on the Dashboard.
A customer says they never got their reminder
Ask them to check spam/junk first. Deliverability is generally better when sending from your own business domain rather than a free address like Gmail or Yahoo — major webmail providers often block third-party services from sending "as" their domain.
Can I edit the email content?
Yes — the Settings page has an editable subject and body template, with placeholders like {{customer_name}} and {{product_name}} that fill in automatically per customer.
