Wellmerce Labs ("we," "us") builds tools for Shopify merchants, including the Wellmerce Reorder Reminder app. This policy covers two separate things we handle data for: (1) the Wellmerce Reorder Reminder app, installed on a merchant's Shopify store, and (2) this website, wellmercelabs.com, including the pilot application form.

1. Wellmerce Reorder Reminder (the Shopify app)

Wellmerce Reorder Reminder helps a merchant remind their own customers to reorder a product before they run out. To do that, the app processes data about the merchant's store and its customers — it does not collect data directly from shoppers itself.

What the app accesses

DataSourceWhy
Order details (line items, order date, order value)Shopify, via the orders/create webhookTo calculate when a customer is likely running low on a product
Customer name, email, phoneIncluded on the orderTo address and deliver the reminder
Product catalog (title, type, handle)Shopify Admin APISo the merchant can choose which products get reminders

The app only requests the minimum Shopify API access needed for this (read_orders, read_products) — it cannot see payment details, and it does not access data unrelated to orders and products.

How it's used

Order and customer data is used solely to schedule and send a reorder reminder (by email today; SMS is built but not yet active) to that customer, on that merchant's behalf, using the sending details the merchant configures. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside the processors below.

Who else touches this data

How long we keep it

Reminder records are kept for as long as the app is installed, so the merchant's dashboard can show accurate history and reorder-conversion stats. If a merchant uninstalls the app, we stop processing new data for that store. We support Shopify's mandatory data-rights webhooks:

For merchants: your own customers' data rights requests should go through Shopify in the normal way — Shopify forwards the relevant webhook to every installed app, including this one, automatically.

2. wellmercelabs.com (this website)

If you fill out the pilot application form on this site, we collect what you enter — name, work email, store URL, product type, order volume, and anything you write in the free-text fields. We use it only to evaluate pilot applications and to email you about the outcome. It's stored via Formspree (our form backend) and we also send an automatic confirmation email via EmailJS.

We don't use tracking cookies or third-party ad pixels on this site. Google Fonts is loaded for typography, which involves a request to Google's servers for the font files.

3. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a data request for either the app or this site, can go to wellmercelabs@gmail.com.

We may update this policy as the app or site change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top.
